LAKE WORTH, Fla. - A man was shot during an attempted robbery on the corner of South F Street and 6th Avenue South in Lake Worth early Saturday morning.
The shooting happened around 6:45 a.m. when three men tried to rob a man in a convenience store parking lot, according to deputies from the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.
The victim, an unidentified Hispanic male, somehow made it down the street and was found bloody around the 400 block of South F Street, deputies said.
He was airlifted to the hospital. There is no word on the extent of his injuries.
The convenience store was closed while deputies investigated the shooting. The 400 and 500 blocks of South F Street were also closed.
Deputies are looking for three young black males who fled in a blue SUV.
