LAKE WORTH, Fla. - A Lake Worth man died early Saturday morning after being struck by a Palm Beach County Sheriff's deputy's vehicle.

According to the sheriff's office, Deputy Scott Yoder was traveling north on Dixie Highway around 12:36 a.m. and as he neared 5th Avenue North, Francisco Andres, ran across the roadway and into the path of the deputy's vehicle.

Andres, 39, died at the scene.
