Lake Worth teen dies after he is hit by a car while riding his bicycle

A Lake Worth teenager riding his bicycle dies after he's hit by a car.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office says Ariel Haim Strutin, 17, was on the north side of Hypoluxo Road riding his bike heading westbound on the sidewalk.

Strutin tried to cross the street from north to south on Hypoluxo where he crashed into a Cadillac driven by Travis Masquelier, 21 of Lake Worth.

Maquelier's car was in the outside, westbound lane of Hypoluxo when the accident happened. He was not injured in the crash.

Strutin died on scene.
