LAKE WORTH, Fla. - Deputies say a Lake Worth man jerked the steering wheel of his girlfriend's Honda Civic and caused her to hit a mobile home. The two were having a heated argument.

According to a Sheriff's Office report, the crash happened around 10 p.m. Sunday, shortly after 35-year-old Javier Rolon saw another man make eyes with his 41-year-old girlfriend at a party.

The woman, whom deputies did not identify, told authorities she hopped in the car with Rolon to head home, but an argument broke out about the guy at the party. Enraged, Rolon accused her of cheating on him.

As the woman drove down the 5300 block of Erika Place, Rolon jerked the steering wheel to the left, causing her to crash into a trailer.

The crash severely bruised the woman's chest, deputies say.

Before booking him in the Palm Beach County Jail, deputies asked Rolon what happened. He said he had no idea.

He wasn't wearing his glasses. Without them, he said, he's blind.
