Parking issues at Lake Worth Beach will soon be a thing of the past.
City officials are planning some big changes to parking meters, so residents can get to the beach sooner.
Many people feel there's not enough meters spread throughout the lot and waiting in line to get a ticket is longer since the parking lot recently reopened from construction.
City leaders have agreed to get extra parking meters.
Software upgrades will be made on the solar powered meters that have been on the property since 2011, so they'll appear more user friendly.
Officials are also creating a way where beach goers can pay for parking using their cell phone.
Three parking attendants will be added to assist those who still need help.
Upgrades are expected to be complete by April.
The pay by cell phone system won't be ready for several more months.
