PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. - Teddy Lee Conner, 37, pleaded guilty and was sentenced Thursday to 30 years in prison for three counts of attempted sexual battery on a person younger than 12 in two separate cases, according to Palm Beach County State Attorney Michael McAuliffe.

The trial evidence showed that between 1999 and 2003, Connor victimized two of the three children he once babysat at a house in Lake Worth.

At the time, both victims were younger than 12 and both said Connor would fondle them and force them to perform sex acts on him, according to prosecutors.

Both victims also said they didn't know that the other child was being victimized initially because Connor concealed his actions, prosecutors said.

Connor originally denied the accusations but later admitted to forcing the children to perform sex acts on him after he failed a polygraph test that indicated he was lying, according to court documents.
