SUBURBAN LAKE WORTH, Fla. -- A Palm Springs man died Sunday before noon after colliding his motorcycle with a vehicle in suburban Lake Worth.
Armando Garcia, 20, was traveling northbound in the center lane of South Military Trail on his Suzuki motorcycle around 11:43 a.m. when he struck the rear driver's side of a four-door Ford driven by Howard George Nelson, 72, according to an accident report.
Witnesses told Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office investigators that Garcia, of Palm Springs, was driving at a high rate of speed and weaving in and out of traffic when he struck Nelson's vehicle, the report states.
After the impact, Garcia vaulted off his motorcycle and tumbled into the median southbound lane of S. Military Trail. He was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
