Erica Farquharson: Lake Worth mother accused of throwing son

LAKE WORTH, Fla. - A Lake Worth woman is facing child abuse charges this morning after allegedly throwing her own son against a wall.

According to an affidavit, a witness said she saw Erica Farquharson pick up her son by the arm and throw him.

Once on the scene, Palm Beach County Deputies say they found a large bruise on the boy's head and had to take him to the hospital for treatment.

The boy's mother is now in jail awaiting bond.
