Car accident in Lake worth leaves three people injured

Two people are hospitalized after a car accident on South J Street and 4th Avenue South in Lake Worth shortly after 9:15 Saturday morning, according Captain Albert Borroto, spokesman for Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.

Two vehicles were involved in the accident. Palm Beach County Fire Rescue's first responders found an SUV on its side.

One patient was ejected from the vehicle and flown by Trauma Hawk to Delray Medical Center. A second patient was taken by ambulance to JFK Medical Center. A third person refused treatment at the scene, says Captain Borroto.

A building inspector will check the structure at 401 S J Street after property damage was reported.
