LAKE WORTH, Fla. -

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s bomb squad safely recovered a grenade in Lake Worth after an unidentified man reported it to authorities.

PBSO bomb squad and Palm Beach County Fire Rescue crews were called out to 1400 N. Dixie Highway in Lake Worth at approximately 1:50 p.m on Tuesday after dispatchers received a 911 call from an unidentified man saying he had found a grenade.

The grenade was safely disposed off by PBSO bomb squad, according to Teri Barbera.
