Ashleigh Brown, teen rescued from water near Lake Worth pier, has died

PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. - LAKE WORTH, Fla. – A teen who was pulled unconscious from the ocean near the Lake Worth Pier Sunday afternoon has died.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office says 18-year-old Ashleigh Brown passed away just after noon Tuesday, nine days after the incident.
According to an incident report Ashleigh was swimming with her friends and disappeared under the water.
Her friends pulled her to shore.
She was given CPR and transported a nearby medical center.
