The city is extending the application deadline until Friday for five advisory boards.
Applications will be accepted for the general employees and firefighter pension boards, the Construction Board of Adjustments and Appeals, the Finance Advisory Board and the Historic Resources Preservation Board.
The city commission is scheduled to appoint members in July. Board members are not paid and must take an online ethics training course.
Commissioners are scheduled to make appointments to the Planning & Zoning Board, the Community Redevelopment Agency Board, the Library Board and other advisory boards during special meetings set for 5:30 p.m. June 25 and June 26 in the conference room at city hall.
