A Lake Worth check cashing store, 1% Check Cashing, was raided Friday morning by detectives operating under the Florida Department of Financial Services and the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.

Officers spent most of the morning walking to and from a crime scene division van and the store,  located in the 400 block of South Dixie Highway. Some hard drives were collected along with bags of evidence.

It is a joint investigation and warrants have been served.

One officer said he is reluctant to share any further information because he doesn't want to jeopardize the case.

No arrests had been made as of noon.

This story was updated to clarify the raid took place Friday morning.
