PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. - A car in a canal leads to the discovery of a woman’s body on Saturday, according to Teri Barbera with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.

On Dec. 20th, around 10 p.m., Karen Lesley Mosier, 59, of Loxahatchee was traveling northbound on Mandarin Boulevard approaching the intersection of 50th Street North when her vehicle struck the edge of the roadway, says Barbera.

After traveling through a row of trees and bushes, the car landed in a canal, confirms Barbera.

Nearly two days later, the vehicle was located and recovered from the canal with Mosier’s body inside, according to Barbera.
