Hurricane Irene impacting air travel at Palm Beach International Airport

If you are planning to fly to the northeast on Saturday from Palm Beach International Airport, you better check your airline's website to make sure your flight is still on.

And keep checking it; the information is changing by the minute.

Hurricane Irene is forcing airlines to cancel many flights to the northeast , and as of  3 p.m. Palm Beach International Airport was reporting 12 afternoon flights cancelled.

JetBlue cancelled six flights, one to Boston, three to New York City, and two to White Plains, New York.

Continental Airlines cancelled two flights to Newark, and Delta Airlines cancelled two flights to New York City.  Southwest Airlines cancelled one flight to Islip and AirTran cancelled one flight to White Plains, New York.
