PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. - Students from Forest Hill, Suncoast, and Royal Palm Beach High Schools were soaking in the sun Saturday while cleaning up the beaches.
They partnered up with "Keep Palm Beach County Beautiful," to pick up the trash littering the coastline.
"Well I think its important to have kids our age out in the world helping others because I don't think we realize what's going on until we do it, and I think its very good to have us involved and that's why I would really love it if we did more stuff like this because we're a great group of kids," said Michelle Stern from Royal Palm Beach High School.
An estimated 800-pounds was collected off the beach.
