GREENACRES, Fla. - According to Greenacres Department of Public Safety, a pedestrian was killed Sunday night on the 5900 block of Lake Worth Road after being struck by a vehicle.

Rogelio Zepeda-Hernandez, 39, of Greenacres attempted to cross Lake Worth Road, mid-block, not using any crosswalk, when he was struck by a 2012 Honda, 2-door car driven by Christopher Zaheer Ali.

The involved driver remained at the scene and the investigation continues.
