GREENACRES, Fla. - A Greenacres man is in jail after police say he was growing marijuana inside of his house.

According to Greenacres police, someone "reported the garage door suspiciously open." When officers arrived they smelled marijuana and obtained a search warrant to enter the home.

Police say a total of 66 separate plants were found in various stages of growth.

Neighbors of Robert Barbosa are in shock. "He seemed like a nice guy, I had no idea," said Deron Hall.

Monday, Greenacres police arrested Barbosa and charged him with cultivation of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Neighbors say police were at Barbosa's home from early Monday morning until about 10 p-m.
