GREENACRES, Fla. - A Greenacres man was arrested on Sunday after he was accused of pointing a gun at the faces of several patrons in a suburban Lake Worth bar.

Edwin Sanchez, 27, is being held at the Palm Beach County Jail without bond. He is facing four counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Sanchez was arrested at El Torito Sports Pub and Cantina at 4469 S. Congress Avenue in suburban Lake Worth on Sunday, after Palm Beach County Sheriff's deputies were called around 12:30 a.m. to reports of a man with a gun. When the deputy arrived, Sanchez was being held by two pub security officers.

The men told the deputy that Sanchez had drawn a gun and pointed it at "several people's faces," according to the arrest report. They said that they in turn pulled their guns and Sanchez immediately dropped his.

While in custody, Sanchez allegedly said that "he did it to scare them," the deputy said in the report. The deputy also said that the gun Sanchez was carrying was actually a BB gun.
