WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - The Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida are getting you into the cookie buying spirit, but you'll have to wait a few days before you can actually start ordering and buying them.

Each Girl Scout council across America has a different cookie selling period. For example, the Girl Scout Council of Tropical Florida , which includes Miami-Dade county, started selling cookies on Thursday, January 13, 2011. Sales have been underway in the Orlando area since January 7.

But the Girl Scout Council of Southeast Florida , which includes the counties of  Broward, Indian River, Okeechobee, Martin, Palm Beach and St. Lucie do not start selling cookies until Thursday, January 20, 2011.
