Fire in West Palm Beach displaces family, crews investigating

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Fire rescue officials are investigating the cause of a fire that happened at about 12:45 Saturday morning in West Palm Beach.

A family of six, including five adults and a thirteen year old are displaced at this hour, after a fire started in the laundry room of their home on Appaloosa Street.

West Palm Beach Fire Rescue and Palm Beach County Fire Rescue crews managed to put out the fire.

Two teams of volunteers from the local Red Cross helped to coordinate emergency aid for one of the adults and the teen. They have also provided food and lodging to the victims affected.
