Suburban West Palm Beach - Shots were fired early Saturday morning inside a mobile home according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.

PBSO Public Information Officer Teri Barbera says that at approximately 3:30 am, deputies responded to an armed home invasion and shooting in the Lake Side of the Palm Beaches Mobile Home Park, in suburban West Palm Beach.

When deputies arrived they located a man suffering from gunshot wounds.

The victim was taken to  St. Mary’s Medical Center by Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.

PBSO says the shooting victim went into surgery.  His current condition is unknown.

Investigators think that  two - maybe - three   male suspects entered the mobile home, a struggle ensued and an occupant inside the mobile home was shot.  It is unknown if the suspects got away with anything.

No additional suspect information is available.

If anyone has information about this incident they are urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-458-TIPS.
