RIVIERA BEACH, Fla. - Sailfish marina in Riviera Beach was one of three special customs processing centers set up Labor Day.

Customs officers processed boaters who traveled outside the country for the holiday.

Most boaters who used the Sailfish Marina had traveled to the Bahamas.

Ken Kettner's boat is tied up to Sailfish Marina.

He and his family are back from a labor day weekend in the Bahamas.

He called the special customs processing center easy to use.

"Much more convienent. The normal drill is you have to call in and o to the airport within 24 hours. So if you can stop and take all your passengers at one time it's much easier," said Kettner.

If boaters coming back to the United States don't register through customs they can face a $5,000 fine.

The customs processing center at Sailfish Marina will be open again on Tuesday, the 7th.
