The uninsured and underinsured will be treated for free Saturday at 12 clinics in Palm Beach County.
From Boynton Beach to Jupiter to Pahokee and Belle Glade, doctors, nurses and other medical providers are participating in what the county is calling Medical Home Day 2012.
Blood pressure checks, pregnancy tests, immunizations, and diabetes, hearing and vision screenings also will be available. In addition, Walgreens will offer free flu shots at county Health Department clinics. The staff also will make follow-up appointments for those who need them.
The clinics will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. No need to make an appointment to receive services.
