HIALEAH, Fla. - A puppy discovered on the streets of Miami with a severed paw now has a prosthetic limb.
A pet organization called 1 Lucky Dog Rescue took in Debbie three weeks ago. Rescuers are looking for donations to offset the costs of her medical care and prosthetic limb: http://1luckydogrescue.com/
NBC 6 in Miami reports that an x-ray showed someone may have intentionally hurt the puppy, as the cut was clean, cut from bone to bone.
A prosthetic company in South Florida designed and fitted Debbie with a new paw so she can get around better.
