NEW YORK - Pregnant women are making quick cash on Craigslist by selling positive pregnancy tests.
The ads suggest using the tests to get a longtime boyfriend to pop the question or to mess with mom and dad, ABC News reported .
“I am selling positive pregnancy tests,” one woman from Buffalo posted on the popular classified website. “Ever since I became pregnant I have been asked numerous times for a positive test, so I decided to start charging for it.”
The positive tests go for $10 to $25 and most of the ads promise no questions asked.
“I will take the test the same day you want to pick it up,” the poster wrote. “I don’t care what you use it for, not my business.”
Home pregnancy tests detect a hormone that is produced only by pregnancy women.
