PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. - Once again Palm Beach county is at the center of attention in an election. The first unofficial results came in just before 10 p.m.

There was a lull in collecting the results.

The Elections Supervisor Susan Bucher says a rush of voters came in right at 7 p.m. and it took a while for them to cast ballots.

Bucher says there is nothing unusual about being the last county in the state to come back with results.

She makes no apologies and says with a county so large that is to be expected.

Bucher admits keep some polling locations open well past 7 p.m. -- specifically a polling location in Palm Beach Gardens-- because of long lines.

At 11 p.m. there were barely 10 percent of precincts reporting. That has increased to significantly by 11:30 p.m.

Palm Beach County has more than 700 precincts to tabulate from areas as far as the Glades.

Bucher thinks it will be several hours before all precincts are counted.
