With just months to go until the 2012 presidential election, all of Mitt Romney's former presidential rivals are now backing him.
But one candidate hasn't quit: Ron Paul.
In an interview with CNN, Paul explained why.
"Well, it certainly isn't for the reason of disrupting a convention, as you are alluding to," Paul said. "That is not in my plan. That is against my plan."
Paul said he doesn't even like hearing the reason of "disrupting the convention" as a suggestion.
"I'm in it for very precise reasons - to maximize our efforts to get as many delegates as we can," he said. "I'm still a candidate and to promote something that is very, very important -- that is a change in the direction for the Republican party to be a fiscal conservative Republican party."
Paul has 82 of the 1,144 delegates needed to clinch the GOP nomination.
Romney has 904.
