WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.-- The final hours mean a final push for votes and Republicans in Palm Beach County are making calls, knocking on doors and greeting neighbors.

The campaign office of Governor Mitt Romney is buzzing with volunteers on the phones as they try to reach the minds and hearts of voters.

Jeff Johnson says he used to work in Washington at the Bureau of Labor Statistics but moved to Florida a year ago to help with the campaign.

"That last burst of energy to get people over the hump and get Governor Romney across the finish line," he said.

Independents, undecided voters and Democrats have been key, Monday brought a new strategy: reaching Republicans to make sure they vote.

Nina Fisher, another volunteer, says she had voted Democrat every year until this year.  She has been calling Spanish speakers.

"Every vote counts and I think the Spanish people are going to make a big difference," she said.

Many hope voters will follow suit. Janine Alexander claims they have been able to convert some Democrats to Republicans.

"I think people are hungry for clarification. Some of them really aren't very clear and they've been hearing so much from the media. We try to imbued positivity," she said.

Tuesday, the GOP volunteers plan to call voters to make sure they know where to vote and answer last minute questions. They will also be outside polling locations the proper distance away to encourage support.

"We think we are going to win we are very excited that by Wednesday we will have a new president," said Fisher.
