First Lady Michelle Obama will continue her three-day national tour celebrating the second anniversary of Let's Move! with two stops in Florida on Friday.
The Let's Move! program is Mrs. Obama's initiative to solve the problem of childhood obesity within a generation.
Businesses, organizations, educators and parents have worked with Let's Move! to provide children with healthier food and greater opportunities for physical activity in schools and communities. They also have helped families get the information they need to make healthier decisions.
The First Lady will be in Homestead at 3:30 p.m. for a WebMD Town Hall. She will join experts from the company to answer questions from a live local audience and a national online audience about how families can implement healthy changes in their daily lives.
Parents can submit questions for the Mrs. Obama and the panel at www.webmd.com/townhall .
The First Lady will then travel to Orlando where she will visit the home of a family who has made changes to become healthier. Mrs. Obama will have dinner with the family in their home and discuss the everyday changes families can make.
The First Lady will end her 3-day celebration with stops on Saturday at the Northland, A Church Distributed in Longwood and the ESPN Wide World of Sports at the Walt Disney World Resort.
