Primary day is over, but the work continues for staff members of Palm Beach County's Supervisor of Elections office.
The race for Florida Senate District 27 still hasn't been finalized. A recount is underway, after the results proved to be too close. In the running for the seat are Jeff Clemens and Mack Bernard.
Nearly 24,000 people voted in this race, but there is only a 35 vote spread between the two.
Susan Bucher, the supervisor of elections, says the results should be finalized by this weekend.
