Rick Santorum said Sunday morning he has no intention of dropping out of the Republican presidential race.
Arriving shortly before noon at Worldwide Christian Center in Pompano Beach, where he’s scheduled to speak to a packed crowd in the hundreds,
Santorum was met by a gaggle of reporters.
As he paused to put on his suit jacket, he answered one question, and deflected suggestions that he drop out of the race following his finish in a distant third place Saturday in South Carolina.
“Are you serious? This race is just starting,” he said, before beginning a private meeting with the church pastor, the Rev. O’Neal Dozier, a Republican who is Santorum’s honorary Florida chairman.
