WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - The Legislative session ends on Friday, but a bill could be coming to life after the Alimony bill was vetoed by Governor Rick Scott.
Representative Ritch Workman, a Republican from Brevard County told NewsChannel 5 Thursday afternoon, "I have amended the language onto another bill that deals with family law and it sits in what we call House messages. I am working the members and leadership to see if we can get that bill heard. I have talked to the Governor's office because I have amended it, to exclude the retro activity clause hopefully not veto it again."
Bill 1210 could be on the agenda tonight or tomorrow.
