GREENACRES, Fla. - A teacher at Cholee Lake Elementary School scores a front row seat to Saturday's Curiosity launch to Mars.
Adrienne Whittemore was chosen as one of the 150 participants out of a lottery of 5000 applicants to take part in a two-day @Nasatweetup for the launch of the new space rover. The event started November 23rd and will pick up again Saturday.
During the tweetup, Whittemore will get a behind-the-scenes peek at NASA facilities and its launch pads. She has already been documenting her experience there, 140 characters at a time of course. To follow her tweets, click here .
