Viewed around the globe, a girl is now known as the one who burned her hair off, after posting her curling iron mishap on YouTube.

Tori Locklear was trying to demonstrate how well the Wand curling iron works in her demonstration video. But, the demo didn't quite go as Locklear had planned.

Around the 1:05 mark is where it all begins. Locklear says to hold the iron on your hair for 20 seconds or more.

And then, off with her hair.

The next 40 seconds that follow needs no explanation.

The YouTube video of the October 2012 incident has gone viral, being viewed by more than 2 million people.

On Wednesday morning, Locklear was interviewed on the TODAY Show. Video of that interview will be posted on this page shortly.
