CINCINNATI -- As former teacher and Cincinnati Bengal cheerleader Sarah Jones awaits trial, her ex-husband spoke about the charges against her in an interview Monday night.

Jones is facing criminal charges for allegedly having sex with a student at Dixie Heights High School, where she taught English.

Jones' high school sweetheart and husband of less than a year, Nathan Wilburn, spoke about the charges on "Inside Edition" Monday night.

"Of course I don't want my wife to be guilty of having sexual relations with a young boy," Wilburn said of the charges.

But Wilburn added, "I go back and forth every day as far as whether I feel it's true or not true."

Jones filed for an annulment earlier in 2012.

Since then, Wilburn says he met someone new and is moving on.

Sarah Jones' mother, Cheryl, is also charged with tampering with evidence in connection to the alleged crimes Sarah committed.

Cheryl Jones is the principal at Twenhofel Middle School. She has been placed on administrative leave.

Sarah and Cheryl are out of jail on bond. The two are scheduled for a trial on June 27.
