Republican presidential candidate, Mitt Romney is on track to be his party's nominee and it looks like money was no object in getting there.

He spent nearly $77 million on his campaign so far.

That amounts to $18.50 a vote and $126,000 per delegate.

Romney has spent more than any other candidate.

In fact, he spent more than Ron Paul, Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich combined.

The money was used to cover various expenses like hotels, food, accounting services, travel and online advertisers.

If you're talking quality over quantity -- Gingrich and Santorum actually had a better return on what they spent for each vote.
