WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- There's a one in 175 million chance of winning the Powerball -- and the odds are good for Florida lottery players.
According to the Sun Sentinel, Florida has led the country in winners and sales since joining in on the Powerball competition in 2009.
Lottery experts say there's a 60 percent chance someone in the country will hit the jackpot Wednesday.
The jackpot will be worth about $327 million once taxes are removed.
Of course, the chance of winning is slim. In fact, experts say you have a better chance of getting struck by lightning than winning.
The drawing will take place in Tallahassee Wednesday night.
