UPDATE: According to nbcnewyork.com, there was a fire at 1 World Trade Center Wednesday morning.
It was described as a 'flash fire,' that broke out on the 88th Floor.
FDNY Battalion Chief Kevin Brennan told nbcnewyork.com that welding equipment on the caught fire just before 7:45 a.m. He said the fire was contained to equipment and did not spread to the walls or floor.

NEW YORK (AP) -- Authorities say a fire on the 88th floor of the New York City skyscraper under construction at ground zero is likely a false alarm.
Steve Coleman, a spokesman for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, which owns the site, says the fire report was called in by a member of the public Wednesday and is believed to be a false alarm. The report was thought to be related to welding at One Word Trade Center.
The fire department says the situation "probably will hold."
Last week, a steel beam signed by President Barack Obama was lifted into place at the top of the 104-story skyscraper that's being built to replace the twin towers destroyed in the Sept. 11 attacks. It's expected to be completed in 2014.
NEW YORK, N.Y. -- Nearly 90 firefighters responded to a fire on the 88th floor of One World Trade Center this morning, nbcnewyork.com is reporting .
The fire was reported around 7:45 a.m., according the station .
There is no official word on the size or cause of the flames.
According to WCBS, the fire was put out shortly before 8:30 a.m.
Nbcnewyork.com reports that no one was inside the building when the fire erupted.
The New York City Office of Emergency Management told WCBS 880 that road closures and traffic delays are to be expected in that area.
