CORONADO, Calif. - Four people were injured in a helicopter crash at Naval Air Station North Island.

The crash occurred at about 11 p.m. Wednesday. It's unclear what caused the crash.

Two of the injured were transported to UCSD Hospital and the other two were taken to Scripps Mercy Hospital, according to the Heartland Fire & Rescue Department. The extent of their injuries and conditions were unknown.
