KANSAS CITY - After a tip from a self-proclaimed psychic led to a new search for missing baby Lisa Irwin and yielded no results, many speculators are firing criticism, reports ibtimes.com .

Stephanie Almaguer claimed she had visions of the whereabouts of Lisa, who has been missing from her Kansas City home since Oct. 4. When she published her visions in a blog, a group of volunteers went to a new location, believing they may find where Lisa was buried. But, after a long search, they found nothing hidden beneath the dirt.

Almaguer, who is not a stranger to working on missing persons' cases, is being criticized by members of the media and public -- some saying she is after reward money and has "stolen" visions from other psychics in previous cases, the report from ibtimes.com states.
