CHELSEA, Mass. - A court officer was taken away on a stretcher after a man lunged at murder suspect during a hearing in Chelsea, Massachusetts on Monday.
The incident happened when the district attorney discussed the gruesome details of the deadly stabbing at a Revere mobile home park.
The officer is OK but was injured trying to stop an altercation in the courtroom.
Peter Deconinck, 46, of Revere, MA, was arrested at a Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority station on Saturday night with blood visible on his body. Police charged him with the murder of a 50-year-old Winthrop man at a mobile home park Saturday night.
