Linda Hogan arrested for DUI, says ex-hubby's sex tape has nothing to do with her drinking

CALIFORNIA - Reality TV star and ex-wife of Hulk Hogan, Linda Hogan, was arrested Thursday morning and charged with a DUI.  Officers pulled her over around 1:30 a.m. for speeding.  Police said she had a blood alcohol level of 0.084. 

Hogan's attorney, Raymond Rafool, told New York Daily News she was hospitalized two days prior for an E. Coli infection and was on antibiotics.  He believes the medicine had a greater effect on her after drinking several glasses of bubbly at a jewelry event hours earlier.  She was released after posting a $5,000 bond.

According to Rafool, Hogan's drinking has nothing to do with her ex-husband's sex tape that's been out for several months and was leaked on the internet this week.  Rafool said Hulk and Linda have a nice, peaceful relationship and are working hard to co-parent their two children. 

Hulk Hogan is seeking legal action against Gawker.com for posting the edited version of the tape their website Thursday. Still images from the tape previously circulated on the web.  The wrestling star claims the recording was made without his consent.
