Heather Clem, Hulk Hogan sex tape: Gawker, Bubba 'The Love Sponge' and ex wife sued over sex tape

TAMPA, Fla. — Hulk Hogan was not his lively self when his lawyers addressed media outside of the federal courthouse in downtown Tampa Monday regarding the reality TV star's sex tape.

Clad in designer jeans, black New Balance gym shoes, a black t-shirt, black sunglasses and his signature black bandana, Hogan maintained a stone cold look on his face as his attorneys spoke.

"The invasion of privacy that occurred is illegal, outrageous and exceeds the bounds of human decency," said Charles J. Harder, Hogan's lead counsel.

The former pro wrestler is suing Tampa Bay-based disc jockey Bubba the Love Sponge, the DJ's ex wife and Gawker Media.

Hogan said he was illegally taped having sex with the ex-wife of DJ Bubba "The Love Sponge" Clem without his consent six years ago. The video of Hogan and Heather Clem was leaked to the online gossip site Gawker, which posted portions.

Hogan's lawyers said they've sent a cease-and-desist letter to Gawker, which has not removed the 60 second video.

In the federal suit against New York-based Gawker, Hogan is seeking $100 million in damages.

"We believe that crimes were committed by those who secretly created and publicly broadcasted this tape, and we will ensure that all crimes are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law," said Hogan's personal litigation attorney David R. Houston of Reno, Nevada.

It's unclear who leaked the tape to Gawker.

Hogan's real name is Terry Bollea.

ABC Action News reached out to Bubba's attorney who asked his name not be printed or used.

"Bubba is a victim too," explained his attorney.

Bubba and Hulk are best friends that were attached at the hip, according to the attorney. The attorney also added that Bubba is the godfather of Hulk's only son, Nick.

Hogan, who normally Tweets dozens of time per day, only posted once Monday. He wrote: "Now my actions will speak louder than my words."
