GARDEN GROVE, Calif - The former wife of the man suspected of killing eight people in a Seal Beach, Calif., salon has been identified by family members as among the dead.

Steve Huff, ex-husband of Michelle Fournier, said Thursday that police have confirmed to his son that the stylist was among those killed in Wednesday's shooting. Fournier was the mother of Huff's son.

Police arrested Scott Dekraai shortly after the shootings, which also left one person critically wounded.

Michelle Fournier had said in court papers filed earlier this year that Dekraai was mentally unstable and had threatened to harm himself and others.

The two were involved in a bitter custody battle over their 7-year-old son. They had divorced in 2007.
