PRESCOTT, Ariz. - Authorities say a northern Arizona man accused of impregnating a 14-year-old girl has been arrested in Florida.
Yavapai County Sheriff's officials said they were notified Wednesday by the U.S. Marshals Service that 18-year-old Cody Williams-Claxton is in custody. He was arrested in Sebastian on Florida's east coast.
Authorities say Williams-Claxton is being held at the Indian River County Jail on a $150,000 bail pending extradition to Arizona.
Sheriff's officials say Williams-Claxton allegedly had sex with the underage girl in August 2012, which resulted in a pregnancy.
When authorities were prepared to charge him in the case last December, they found Williams-Claxton had fled Arizona.
A warrant was issued for his arrest on suspicion of sexual conduct with a minor under the age of 15.
