Video of Carrie Underwood kissing a 12-year-old audience member during one of her concerts is going viral.
The young fan, named Chase Kurnick, asked Underwood to be her first kiss during her concert in Louisville over the weekend.
Kurnick appeared on the Today Show Friday to discuss the kiss.
Underwood joked with Kurnick before the quick smooch that her husband, hockey player Mike Fisher, was somewhere in the audience and would be looking for him after the show.
She asked Kurnick, “How are we going to do this?” ...to which he answered, "Lip to lip."
The audience exploded with laughter and applause at the request.
Underwood gave her little fan the kiss and later tweeted, “Thanks, Kurnick, for the kiss and thanks Louisville for rocking so hard tonight! We had fun! #liptolip.”
Kurnick will appear on the Today Show Thursday.
