DENVER - A web video shows a younger Austin Sigg , the teenager accused of killing Jessica Ridgeway, wearing a cross resembling the one that police found while investigating the case.

The YouTube video , entitled Racing the Rockies 2009, was posted by the account named PerformanceOneRacing and linked to by RobSigg.com. That website contains biographical information about Austin Sigg's father, Robert J. Sigg and information about his business, Performance One Media, LLC.

For a few seconds, the video shows a young man appearing to be Sigg walking alongside two other people. A small cross appears to be hanging around his neck, outside his polo shirt.

Westminster Police found a similar wooden cross while investigating the Jessica Ridgeway case. They announced it on Oct. 19, hoping someone would recognize it and help to solve the case.

The cross, 1-inch wide and 1-1/2 inches tall, has a hole drilled sideways through the top, presumably for use on a necklace.

Police wouldn't say where the cross was found. Nor would they say whether the owner left it behind accidentally or intentionally.

Austin Sigg turned himself in Tuesday night.

Officers said Sigg was cooperative during the arrest and waived his right to an attorney and to remain silent, which allows a suspect to avoid saying something self-incriminating that can be used against him in court. Sigg is scheduled to make his first appearance in court on Thursday at 8 a.m.

The Arapahoe Community College student lives about a mile from the home of Jessica Ridgeway, who disappeared Oct. 5 after leaving for school. Her remains were found five days later.
