HILLSBOROUGH, N.C. (AP) - The legal battle over a purported sex tape involving two-time presidential candidate John Edwards is returning to a North Carolina courtroom.
A hearing is scheduled Thursday in the dispute between former Edwards aide Andrew Young and Edwards' mistress Rielle Hunter. She is suing to reclaim the video she made and thinks the tape was taken from a box of her personal belongings.
Young's attorneys have been pressing a judge for help in getting a deposition of Edwards for the case.
Judge Carl Fox said in a July hearing he would order Edwards to appear for a deposition if the former senator didn't come in for testimony soon.
Edwards is separately waiting for the conclusion of a federal probe into his campaign finances.
