WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - History was on the move Tuesday in West Palm Beach.
The Temple Beth Israel synagogue, which was built in the early 1920s, was packed up and transported a mile up the road from Broward Avenue to its new location on Flagler Drive.
Its new home will be the campus of Temple Beth El.
The temple earned a designation in 2004 as a historic landmark by the city of West Palm Beach.
